SUMMARY
The Controller is responsible for both the day-to-day management of the Accounting function of the site and being an integral member of the site leadership team. The role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the company through solid value-added analysis and efficient tactical execution of required tasks.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
CMA and/or MBA, a plus
Over 5 years experience in manufacturing & cost accounting
Experience with a small accounting team;
Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs, and data analysis.
Excellent communication, influence, and collaborative leadership skills
Solid knowledge of ERP systems to drive system and process improvements.
Experience in organization planning and talent management

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the financial statement close process to timely and accurate completion while ensuring conformity with company accounting policies, procedures, and control requirements.
Manage the reporting requirements on key KPI to both division and Corporate on a timely and accurate basis. Supports Corporate Tax team on annual tax requirements.
Prepare, execute, and report the financial plans (e.g., Budgets, Forecasts, Cash Flow) for the business.
Working with site leadership to provide support through business analysis, strategic oversight, identification of areas for improvement and management of key projects, including product margin and customer margin analysis.
Work with Site Leadership to provide support through business analysis including product margin and customer margin analysis.
Analyze, review and Report metrics to determine the operational effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, business processes and profitability.
