Join the Niece Equipment Team! We are searching for an experienced Controller to join our highly respected team in the Austin area. In this position, you will play an essential role in advancing the organization’s sustainability and growth by overseeing its compliant accounting and financial functions. Responsibilities include: Oversees the daily operations of the accounting department to ensure compliance with all applicable accounting policies, processes, and GAAP standards Responsible for maintaining the general ledger, financial reporting, and bank accounts, and providing technical expertise in ensuring GAAP compliance. Manages fixed assets, monthly close processes, budget, cash flow, reconciliations, and sales commission reporting Responsible for all applicable financial monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements Optimize use of the company’s accounting software, ensuring efficiency, automation, and resource utilization Develops and implements internal controls and processes to ensure fiscal and GAAP compliance Collaborates with and provides support to auditors and internal and external stakeholders regarding financial reporting and analysis Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; CPA preferred 3 years of experience in an equivalent role, including supervisory experience Benefits: Eligible to participate in the company’s health plans 401(k) with company match up to 4% Generous holidays & paid time off Niece Equipment, LP, is an equal opportunity employer, drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
