Description Primary Responsibilities Administering all financial plans and budgets Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable positions Identify, research, and resolve corporate accounting, auditing, and operational issues Assist with special projects related to acquisitions as well as process improvements for the financial operations of the company Plan and file BPOL, property tax and sales use tax for each location Oversee the collection schedule Ensuring compliance with Federal, State, local and any other financial, tax reporting and regulatory requirements Updating, documenting, and implementing all necessary business policies and accounting practices to improve the finance department’s efficiency and financial controls Providing financial information to meet the needs of managers including producing customized financial reports, costing templates, trend analysis on an as needed, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and ensuring compliance with federal and state legislation Performing other duties assigned Activities - Tasks – Skills Verifying and posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records, and preparing supporting account reconciliations Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts Prepare Profit and Loss statements for several departments using Power BI Conduct a general-ledger review for the organization monthly Maintain fixed assets schedules for all locations and process monthly depreciation Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Proficient with all Microsoft applications (advanced excel) and accounting software Highly organized and with ability to juggle competing priorities Proven ability to manage in deadline driven environment Project management skills Team player with a positive “Can Do” attitude Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred A minimum of 3-5 years in financial administration with progressive growth in responsibility Prior experience coaching and mentoring a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
