CONTROLLER

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of experience in a financial analytical role; retail or industry experience
• Expert-level Excel skills. financial modeling skills
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Previous experience with NetSuite an asset
• Solid understanding of financial accounting and corporate finance principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial insights to non-financial audiences.
• Problem-solver with a proactive and collaborative approach.

• Analyze financial data, support treasury management, and co-ownership of the year-end audit process.
• Expand on existing financial models, including:
• Forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing to evaluate business risks.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and support model development.
• Update and improve models to reflect market trends, regulatory changes, and business conditions.
• Maintain and enhance models for month-end results.
• Support ERP integrations (NetSuite).
• Oversee inventory counts and perform inventory aging analysis.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis.
• Co-ownership and management of the full quarterly projection/budgeting process.
• Co-ownership of Financial Reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
