Job Details Job Location: Administration - Granbury - Granbury, TX 76048 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: Day Description Under the direction of the CFO, the Controller is responsible for entering budgets, financial reporting, cost accounting, financial analysis, revenue recognition, completing the financial accounting/close and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements in accounting and contracting areas, reconciliations, and miscellaneous requests from the CFO. Duties & Essential Job Functions Under the direction of the CFO, oversees and maintains all accounting functions including the General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets. Reviews and/or prepares reports including monthly management and board financial statements, quarterly and annual cost reports, and Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. Reviews and ensures compliance with all state and federal Contracts and Private Grants as needed. Monitors the recording of State and Federal General Revenues and all other revenues. Oversees monthly bank reconciliations and prepares all other balance sheet reconciliations. Assists with annual audit and all other agency financial audits. Manages employees within the accounting department and has a knowledge of each managed position. Oversees cross-training where needed within the accounting team. Attends required trainings and consortia meetings. Assist in writing policy and procedures, as well ask desk procedures, as needed. Oversees and/or assists with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance required. Master’s Degree preferred. LICENSE: CPA or active CPA candidate preferred. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or FP&A. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot required. Experience using SQL, knowledge of Power BI/Tableau preferred. PHYSICAL ABILITIES: MUST BE ABLE TO BEND, STOOP, KNEEL, CROUCH, SQUAT, LIFT AT LEAST 25 POUNDS, REACH OVERHEAD AND SIT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD.
