ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, who is a mid-size construction company, is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the organization’s day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across core accounting functions and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and prepare internal financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements and regulatory standards
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Assist with year-end audits and external reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial controls and policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial operations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team
  • Recruit, retain, and develop team members to support business growth
