About the Role As the Corporate Controller, you will be an integral part of the PureFacts Finance team. While you will manage accounting operations and treasury, you will also partner with the Finance operations team and Business leads to support company objectives and goals. Responsibilities Consolidated Reporting & Accounting Oversee and manage the off-shore accounting team which performs full cycle-accounting tasks (AR, AP, sales tax filings, reconciliations, journal entries etc.) Ownership of the period (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial close process to ensure accurate and timely close Perform monthly consolidations and prepare timely and accurate consolidated and local financial statements Complete complex entries and reconciliations as required Ownership of the general ledger and chart of accounts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in the book of record Continuously monitor systems functionality and processes to identify and implement improvements to scale with organizational growth Compliance and governance Ensure internal controls and processes are in place for the effective stewardship of company assets as well as for adherence to accounting standards and local statutory requirements Manage and oversee global and local financial statement audits Work with external tax advisor to ensure tax compliance in all jurisdictions Carryout cross regional transactions per established transfer pricing policies Maintain and update transfer pricing policies as necessary Treasury and working capital management Ownership of global cash forecasting processes and reporting to ensure alignment across functional leads on global cash position Adhoc projects and initiatives as required (such as support transition to US GAAP) Requirements/Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience ideally from another SaaS organization CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA) required Advanced analytical skills with the ability to prepare in-depth financial reporting and analysis Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to build strong relationships with executive leadership, operations staff, and fellow team members Demonstrated background in financial reporting and strong understanding of GAAP, including a proven track record of supervising day-to-day accounting operations and cash management Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance; experience in a fast-paced environment Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, etc.) Strong proficiency in an enterprise level ERP system (NetSuite is an asset) High level of integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information Strong demonstrated business acumen, such as understanding industry trends, competitive landscapes, and open to growth opportunities Knowledge of US GAAP Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate financial risks plus Experience with change management activities such as system implementations, mergers, or process improvement is an ASSET!
