EXPERIENCE

• Five plus years in an Assistant Controller or Controller position with experience fitting the responsibilities listed above. BSBA in Accounting is required. Masters Degree or CPA not necessary but beneficial.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. Must be able to sit for long periods of time and operate business equipment.
• Must be able to read / hear / write / spell / type and speak English clearly. Must be able to understand and follow written instructions, communicate effectively orally and written, and must be able to listen effectively.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

  Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

• Manage Accounting Manager and department in general.
• Prepare job billings and job costing reporting.
• Prepare General Ledger entries as needed.
• Prepare and distribute financials and monthly ad hoc reporting.
• Track and report on all RMS rental equipment fleets
• Perform bank reconciliations for several accounts.
• Work closely with CFO on all Risk insurance renewals and handle claims.
• Perform audits as necessary for taxing authority, unions, insurance, etc.
• Review all RMS contracts prior to signing.
• Work closely with Banking, Bonding, Insurance and CPA firms.
• Provide direction and guidance to RMS employees and management on accounting questions.
• Support the Management of Rasmussen Mechanical Services and act as a resource in gathering information, researching issues, etc.
