POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to lead and evolve our accounting operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and growth-minded professional with experience building scalable financial infrastructure and driving process improvements. You will report directly to the CFO and work cross-functionally to support operational and strategic decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management-level roles
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks)
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
Prepare internal and external financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance
Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
Develop and improve financial policies, systems, and internal controls
Partner with senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Mentor and develop a small but growing accounting team
Some travel required (10% - 20%)
