Our client is looking for a a Senior Finance Consultant to join their team for a three-month contract. In this role you will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, audits, payroll, and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• CPA designation a strong asset
• At least five years of accounting experience in multi-entity or global structures.
• Expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, SOX controls, and financial reporting
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and communication skill

• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple U.S. entities
• Managing monthly and year-end close processes using the ERP system (Expandable)
• Supporting SOX documentation, tax accruals, and audit coordination with external partners
• Overseeing tax compliance
• Reviewing sales quotes and contracts for tax alignment and consistency
• Tracking monthly revenue by state, prepare tax provision schedules, and mitigate risk via VDAs
• Administering processing, year-end reporting, and commission calculations
• Managing corporate banking operations, including reconciliations and intercompany invoicing
• Leading departmental budget data collection and updating financial models
• Providing royalty calculations and support corporate reporting requests
• Other related duties as required
