As the Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial health and playing a pivotal role in ensuring operational success. Key duties include:
Handling general accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable/receivable, performing reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and generating detailed financial reports.
Leading monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes , guaranteeing deadlines are met and financial records are accurate.
Creating budgets , generating forecasts , and performing financial analysis to guide organizational decision-making.
Collaborating directly with the Senior Leadership and External Partners to support strategic planning and ensure compliance with audits and tax filings.
Driving system optimization projects while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and traits:
At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience , preferably within a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
A CPA designation (required).
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas), along with proficiency in Microsoft Word. Experience with PowerPoint is an asset for creating presentations and reports.
Working knowledge of Sage or a similar ERP system is highly advantageous.
Highly organized with exceptional time-management skills , capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines consistently.
A detail-oriented and analytical thinker who excels at troubleshooting and problem-solving when faced with challenges.
A positive, enthusiastic team player who can operate autonomously while also fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
