PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting and/or finance.
• Viewpoint experience preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of overall financial and managerial accounting experience for a large company (revenues $100 million plus). Construction industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record of progressive leadership and management (i.e., ability to attract and retain key talent)
• Experience with developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, financial forecasts, projections, and analytical review.
• Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions.
• Ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision.
• Excellent PC skills, with high proficiency in Excel as well as Outlook and Word.

Looking for a hands-on Controller supporting and reporting to the Chief Administration Officer and dotted to Chief Executive Officer. The Controller will have the following job duties:

• Produce financial reports that help guide the CEO in running the company.
• Provide leadership, direction, and management for financial accounting department.
• Attract, train, and retain core personnel in order to provide continuity and production in financial accounting. Direct reports include the Payroll Manager and Accounting Manager.
• Supervise the preparation and maintenance of required reconciliations, schedules, subsidiary ledgers, job cost adjustments and journal entries in support of financial statement assertions.
• Maintain the accounting system (supervise environment, procedures, computer systems, etc.)
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Timely communicate business issues and solutions to the CEO.
• Lead the annual financial audits for U.S. and affiliates.
• Coordinate with our CPA for all income tax filings.
• Maintain the accounting of stock, deferred compensation, and employee notes receivables.
• Uphold respective banking relationships.
• Lead the tax strategies.
• Calculate employer 401(k) contribution; perform non-discrimination testing, and census reporting.
• Manage Accounts Payable.
• Perform monthly cash forecast.
