JOB SUMMARY:

Serpa Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM SRT, a flagship division of The Serpa Automotive Group, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Controller to join our financial leadership team. This position is based at our Serpa Head Office in Aurora and is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance requirements specific to our Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong dealership financial management experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management and department leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2+ years of finance/accounting experience (dealership experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with CDK dealership management software (required).
  • Solid understanding of automotive dealership accounting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily banking and reconciliation activities.
  • Prepare, analyze, and finalize monthly dealership financial statements.
  • Oversee posting and reconciliation of transactions, rebates, and incentives.
  • Review and monitor expense reports for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage lien payouts, vehicle purchase payments, and floorplan reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with managers and auditors for regular bank audits.
  • Oversee commission and bonus postings for accurate compensation.
  • Provide timely financial insights and reporting to senior leadership.Support additional accounting requirements as the dealership grows.
