SpartaCraft, a local wood products manufacturing company located in Connelly Springs, NC, has an immediate opening for a Controller.
Candidates must thrive in a fast paced and high energy environment. This is a hands-on position that manages a small office staff. This position will also be responsible for overseeing and assisting with a new ERP Implementation, from Sage to Acumatica.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Controller:

• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
• Monitor billing, collections, cash flow, and preparing trail balances
• Post monthly journal entries, close books monthly, and ensure all accounts are reconciled monthly
• Reconcile all banking accounts/statements
• Implement cost accounting procedures
• Assist with other compliance work such as 1099s and sales tax returns

Minimum requirements of 5 years of accounting experience preferred, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Compensation range of $70-100K/year, depending on experinece.
