Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller Specialist to join our team and support our clients in managing their financial operations. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Collaborate with clients and team members to resolve accounting issues and discrepancies. Assist in the coordination and support of financial audits and reviews. Provide guidance and support to staff on accounting principles and best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 10+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis roles. CPA certification or equivalent professional accreditation preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software. QuickBooks certified preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Working Conditions Majority onsite work required at client locations. 75% onsite/25% remote Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements for evening or weekend work depending on client needs.
