ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting and Finance department of an approximate $20m annual revenue manufacturing company. This role is vital to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining regulatory and tax compliance, and promoting the financial health of the organization.
You’ll be joining a lean, high-impact team where your contributions directly shape business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in accounting, excellent analytical and communication skills, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review daily general ledger transactions; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow and banking activity
• Perform or supervise monthly reconciliations and journal entries, including payroll-related entries
• Serve as a backup for payroll processing functions
• Assist in month-end close procedures and preparation of internal financial reports
• Contribute to the development of monthly board reports
• Oversee accounts payable processing and vendor invoice review
• Prepare and file annual 1099 forms
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax and regulatory requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $100k – $122k per year
