You will be a senior-level financial professional responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a company's financial health. Duties include: Managing accounting records and financial statements Ensuring compliance with tax laws and business regulations Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Supervising accounting staff and payroll operations Implement financial controls and risk management strategies Assist management with important financial decisions Prepare and present month end financial statements to senior management. Supervise staff in preparing financial reports and budgets Skills include: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. Ability to analyze financial data, forecast trends, and guide business decisions. Strong interpersonal skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments. Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking with capacity to identify financial risks and implement solutions. Technology Proficiency and Familiar with financial software, data analytics, and automation tools. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations. Attention to detail. Organization and project management skills a plus Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting required CPA designation preferred Must have 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience Experience with multi-company business Experience in expanding, fast growing organizations Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred, Great Plains and other accounting software a plus Extensive full cycle accounting experience including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis required Prior Controllership experience
