Controller A Great Opportunity / Full-Time Through a wide range of innovative services referred to as ViaQuest's Circle of Care, our skilled, dedicated employees ensure that the people we serve are active participants in their own care. ViaQuest offers quality, highly-personalized, specialized and cost-effective care, solutions and services through Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions, Day & Employment Services, and Residential Services. Responsibilities may include: • Lead and coordinate finance team in preparation for audit. • Oversee month end and financial statement process. • Provide quarterly finance reports to bank. • Ensure due diligence regarding loans, acquisitions, sales and contracts. • Provide financial reports to tax preparation company in a timely and accurate manner. • Ensure tax information is processed and submitted in a timely manner. • Complete tax estimates and handle any tax issues that may arise. • Ensure balance sheets are reconciled in a timely and accurate manner. • Ensures covenant compliance is met at all times. • Assists CFO with any finance related legal issues. • Manages departmental software including creating reports and maintaining the system. • Ensure Microsoft software is being used appropriately/efficiently and communicate software updates to the finance team as needed. • Oversee the sharing of information between the billing and finance departments. • Oversee the accounts payable team to ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner. • Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements for this position include: Minimum 18 years of age. The Controller must have a four-year degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and at least five years of experience in the finance field. Experience with taxes, audits and GAAP is preferred. Management experience is preferred. Experience in the healthcare or human services field is preferred.
