Originated from Stuart, Florida, AutoGeek retails and warehouses more than 1,000 products, including SONAX, CarPro, Flex, Griot’s, and many more. AutoGeek also has proprietary brands including BLACKFIRE, Marine 31, Wolfgang, Pinnacle, Pinnacle Black Label, SONAX, Cobra Microfiber and Speed Master Brushes and accessories.

POSITION SUMMARY:

A motivated individual that works well with a team and strategic plan to drive corporate profitability. AutoGeek is looking for a Controller to record and process the Company’s accounting activities, manage the financing of the products, website sales, and proprietary brands.

Responsibilities

• Process and record all accounting activities for the Company
• Accounting and operational analysis
• Cash management
• Lender / Loan relationship and covenant compliance (if banking needs are sought)
• Accounting supervision
• Banking and credit card relationships
• Vendor responsibilities
• Company insurance
• Accounting leadership companywide
• Represent the company with top class professionalism to drive loyalty, trust, and respect that provides opportunities for growth
• Work directly with coworkers to drive business profitability
• Professional record keeping with accounting and customer tracking metrics

Education

• Minimum 2-year associate degree, 4-year college degree preferred.

Travel/Work Hours

• Typical 40+ hour work week
• Work Monday - Friday 8:30am till 5:00pm and some Saturdays
• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test
• Must have reliable transportation

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Accounting for Vision Investments
• Bill management
• Consolidated accounting / tax prep liaison / external reporting
• Sales tax compliance and reporting
• Inventory calculation and oversight
• Internal financial reporting
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor
• Fraud Prevention
• Represent the cores values and policies of the company

• Ability to lift up to 30lbs for samples, displays, and any inventory / warehouse reviews
• Standing long periods of time if assisting in the warehouse or supporting various events
