Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Controller for a well reputable family-run company in the northwest of Winnipeg.
This role will directly report to the General Manager of the company and plays a key part in providing comprehensive financial updates to Senior Management by presenting and analyzing financial data.
Do you have your CPA designation and are a big-picture thinker? Do you have previous experience as a Controller and possess strong leadership skills? Do you work well independently and thrive in a busy fast-paced work environment?
Do have outstanding problem-solving skills, enjoy working with numbers and create efficiency?
Are you tech-savvy, work with a high degree of accuracy, self-driven, and consistent? Are you able to pass a criminal background check, have your own vehicle, and a valid driver’s license?

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA certification required
• Previous working experience as a Controller is required
• Great leadership skills,
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities with big-picture thinking
• Deep understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and able to intermittently travel within Canada

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
