YOUR EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (required) CPA (preferred, does not need to be active)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems; familiarity with MS Dynamics 365, SAP, etc (preferred)
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Prior experience working within a manufacturing company (preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Fiduciary responsibility: Lead the monthly close, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget processes. Possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles related to accruals, inventory costs, fixed asset capitalization, and other manufacturing-related technical accounting. Provide expertise on policy compliance, governance, adherence to accounting standards, and internal controls. Champion a strong governance and controls mindset.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop relevant and insightful financial analyses, connecting results to operational behaviors to drive actionable decisions and improvements throughout the organization.
  • Strategy development and planning: Provide financial expertise and strategic partnership through modeling and analyses to optimize top and bottom-line performance through margin enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Business Partnership: Operate cross-functionally and utilize your influencing skills to develop and implement the business strategy. Prepare analysis while partnering with leaders to bring forward clear and concise recommendations. Develop accurate financial forecasts for business partners.
