Responsibilities

As a Controls Assurance Senior Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering our annual Controls Assurance Plan. You’ll lead control reviews, mentor and guide junior team members, and support ongoing efforts to strengthen risk management across a complex, fast-paced, and tightly regulated wagering environment.

  • Plan and execute control reviews aligned to the financial year assurance plan, including walkthroughs, testing, and reporting.
  • Identify and assess control issues, using sound judgement and a risk-focused mindset to calibrate and communicate findings.
  • Write high-quality reports and present outcomes to stakeholders across the business and senior leadership.
  • Mentor and support Analysts and Advisors, reviewing their work and helping to build capability within the team.
  • Contribute to broader risk initiatives including control attestations, board reporting, and process improvements
