POSITION OVERVIEW

Eco World Water is seeking a highly skilled Controls/Automation Engineer to lead the development, customization, and implementation of control systems for our modular water treatment solutions. This role will be responsible for the full lifecycle of industrial control systems — from PLC/SCADA programming and control panel design, to on-site commissioning and customer-specific customization.
The individual will also support future hardware platform transitions (e.g., from Eaton-based PLCs to Allen-Bradley/Rockwell) and maintain our existing software framework for configuration on a per-project basis.

• Design, configure, and program PLC/HMI/SCADA systems for Eco World Water treatment equipment (coagulation, flocculation, UF/RO, chemical dosing, etc.).
• Customize and maintain the company’s standard control software platform for customer-specific applications.
• Migrate control systems to alternate platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley/Rockwell), including hardware selection, panel redesign, and code conversion.
• Develop and update control panel schematics, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and BOMs.
• Configure field instrumentation (flow, level, pressure, chemical dosing, control valves, etc.) and perform I/O mapping.
• Develop/update HMI and SCADA screens, alarms, trending and reporting functions.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing, field commissioning, and system startup activities.
• Provide controls expertise during system design reviews (P&ID, control philosophy, and functional specifications).
• Work closely with Eco World Water process, mechanical, and production teams throughout project execution.
• Provide technical support to internal staff and customers during production and operational phases.
