AIS Technologies Group is currently recruiting a Controls Designer to relocate and join our team in Windsor Ontario. The successful candidate will experience a high energy, fast-paced work environment that is both competitive and rewarding. We are a company looking for someone who wants to join part of a growing team. AIS Technologies Group is a privately owned corporation with headquarters in Windsor, Ontario. We engineer and manufacture sophisticated automation and secondary processing equipment, vision systems and software solutions.
The Controls Designer is responsible for multiple duties, and will have 5+ years of related experience with AutoCAD Electrical. They will be part of a team that designs and implements electrical prints, automation and drives projects, including safety and IT-interfaces for all production machinery in manufacturing. They will ensure a variety of tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. These responsibilities include working closely with Mechanical design and shop floor employees to ensure electrical prints are following codes and issued in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following are the minimum requirements for the position:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • A two-year technical degree, or a four-year degree in related field
  • Ability to work in AutoCad to design electrical and pneumatic prints
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Previous experience in the automation industry is a plus
  • Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to organize and schedule tasks
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
