Description

Achilles USA is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrician specializing in Industrial Controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment with a focus on industrial control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other related technologies used in industrial automation.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Graduate
  • Certification or associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), and SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and practices related to electrical systems.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and industrial control components such as PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, sensors, and switches.
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
