POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and maintain control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that electrical systems are reliable, efficient, and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems and circuits.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and mitigate potential system failures.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance production efficiency.
  • Utilize CAD software to develop schematics and layouts for electrical systems.
  • Test and validate control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on control system operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment as a Controls Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and related programming.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and testing electrical systems and circuits.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
