Job Details Job Location: Milsco Redgranite - Redgranite, WI 54970 Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Engineering Position Summary: This on-site position leads the controls programming, productivity and management across all equipment. Responsible for the development of PLC’s, Robotics and motor control devices. Perform electrical installations as well as troubleshooting, repair and maintain automated production equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and design automated control systems for machinery and equipment, including both hardware and software components. Write, test, and implement PLC and HMI programming using Allen-Bradley Software. Connect and integrate various devices and components, often using industrial networking protocols like Ethernet IP Assist in layout and installation of new equipment, modifications, or upgrades. Diagnose and resolve issues in both new and existing control systems. Manage project timelines, costs, and resources, and collaborate with other departments and external contractors. Experience with software programming and testing methodologies, as well as the ability to develop HMI graphics and configure databases. Install, repair, and replace temperature controls, solid state controls, programmable logic controllers, HMI’s, MMI’s, position sensors, servo systems, AC and DC electrical motors and motor controllers, transformers, disconnects, and distribution panels. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent education & experience Minimum of five (5) years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Extensive PLC and control/automation system design experience required. Robotics programming experience is required. Fanuc or Yaskawa preferred. Experience in vision systems to include robot guided systems.
