We are looking for a talented Controls Engineer - Senior to join our team specializing in MANUFACTURING for CUMMINS in San Luis Potosí, SLP. (100% On site role) Job Summary: This role provides support across the entire plant within the Manufacturing department, interacting closely with its main internal customers: Quality and Maintenance, in the Engines and Cylinder Heads businesses. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Design and develop control strategies for industrial processes. Program, configure, and provide support for PLC, HMI (Human Machine Interface), and SCADA systems. Participate in the implementation, testing, and commissioning of automation control systems using COBOTS (collaborative robots). Analyze and troubleshoot automation and control system failures. Interpret P&ID, electrical, and control diagrams. Coordinate and provide technical support to junior engineers and plant technicians. Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and industrial safety requirements. Document changes, improvements, and configurations in control systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers. Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
