We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer Senior to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Grupo Industrial in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Location: Blvd. Juan Pablo II 1951, Cdad. Rio Bravo, C . Río Bravo, 32550 Juárez, Chih. Role: 100% on site Job Summary Develops, designs, and supports control systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure reliable and efficient operation across manufacturing processes. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Design and develop control systems and related solutions. * Supporting 8 production lines for the control systems and improvement of cicle time. * Develop and implement bench tests to validate system performance. * Modify software and equipment to ensure sensors and actuators operate according to specifications. * Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues and change requests. * Prepare cost estimates and compile required technical and financial information for project approvals. * Investigate project requirements and develop technical solutions considering cost, staffing, and environmental factors. * Provide installation and technical support for PLC-based hardware and software systems. * Coach and mentor less experienced Controls Engineers. To be successful in this role, you will need: * Solid experience in Programming/Controlling * Experience with different types of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wago) * Experience in Labview * Codigos Visual Studio * Perfilometros y Sistemas de vision Keyence y Cognex * Conocieminto en control electrico * Electronics knowledge * Upper Intermediate English Level Nice to have skills: * Advanced English Level * Experience as a team leader of Technicians * Knowledge in Cobots * Safey Machine experience (SafetyGuard) * Safety Controlls PILz, AB, BAnner, Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
