WHAT YOU BRING (REQUIRED EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • Rockwell SLC, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix PLC programming
  • Rockwell PanelView HMI development
  • AutoCAD Electrical for control system design
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Problem-solving mindset and excellent project management skills

BONUS POINTS FOR (PREFERRED EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience with SCADA systems (Ignition, FactoryTalk SE, Wonderware)
  • Knowledge of NFPA 79, NEC, and UL508A standards
  • Background in food & beverage or paper industries
  • Robotics programming experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Siemens PLC and HMI programming expertise

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and implement sophisticated automation control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and AC/DC drives
  • Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Develop and manage automation projects from estimation to completion
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to technicians and junior engineers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while identifying new opportunities
  • Create innovative engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations
