Description
Job Purpose: Provide service and technical support for new and existing customers.  Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide field services including programming, commissioning and training to complete HVAC controls installations  * Program controllers and commission control systems  * Read and interpret drawings, specifications and sequence of operations  * Maintain a productivity level of 65%, or better - time must be tied to a specific job or work order as opposed to overhead  * Supervise subcontractors on job sites  * Provide technical support to internal and external customers  * Manage customer relationships to ensure repeat business  * Assist with maintaining project schedule  * Control project costs by limiting field expenses  * Maintain Subject Matter Expert status on industry and control equipment  * Other duties as assigned  * Work cooperatively with others  * Comply with all company policies and procedures * Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability All the tasks described in these Job Duties and Responsibilities are the essential functions of this job. Qualifications:  * 5 years experience with HVAC Commercial and Mechanical Systems preferred  * 3 years experience with Control Systems  * Proficient computers skills with MS Office  * Applicable knowledge and experience with computer networks, programming microprocessors and role specific tools to include, but not limited to: Voltage and Amp Meters, Temperature Meters, Manifold, Service Tool 5, Field Assist, STT, BBMD, Putty, Snap and View Builder preferred  * Possess a valid driver’s license  * Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies  * Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy  Travel: * 80% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay Other: This job description is not an exhausted list of all functions that employee may be required to perform, and employee may be required to perform additional functions.  Mingledorff’s and its subsidiaries (“Company”)  reserves the right to revise the job description at any time.  Employment is at-will.   The Company promotes a drug-free, alcohol-free workplace.  Applicants being considered for hire must pass a drug test before beginning work.
