We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls / Automation Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a resourceful professional who thrives in troubleshooting electronics, implementing automation systems, and contributing to cutting-edge industrial and building automation projects. Key Responsibilities • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain control systems and electronic equipment. • Install, commission, and support automation systems across industrial and building environments. • Interpret, modify, and build from electrical schematics, prints, and diagrams. • Assist in the design and development of control solutions where applicable. • Work with PLCs, Ladder Logic, and perform millivolt/amp probing for system diagnostics. • Support and optimize Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and related equipment. • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and effective system operations. • Utilize ABB components and Automation Builder Software to configure and maintain automation solutions. Qualifications • Required: o 2–5 years of experience in controls/automation within industrial maintenance or installation. o Strong troubleshooting skills in electronics. o Proficiency with PLC programming, Ladder Logic, and electrical testing equipment. o Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics/prints. • Preferred: o Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC equipment, and related controls. o Background in system installation, commissioning, and design/build of automation solutions. o Familiarity with ABB components and Automation Builder Software.
