POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems and automation equipment to optimize production efficiency and ensure system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement control system solutions using Allen Bradley products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in the programming and configuration of HMI and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on control systems and automation equipment.
  • Perform system commissioning and oversee the integration of new technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve existing processes and systems.
  • Document control system changes and maintain backup and recovery systems.
  • Support the installation and maintenance of robotics and industrial networking solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Controls Technician or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley control systems and programming.
  • Knowledge of HMI, SCADA, and automation processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and instrumentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with backup and recovery systems and industrial networking.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is preferred.
