STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER - FOODSERVICE

A Fill-n-Chill Assistant Manager of Foodservice is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen to support the Store Manager in all aspects of running the kitchen.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE (INCLUDE CERTS OR LICENSES NEEDED):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    · Must be over the age of 21.
    · Responsible Beverage Service Training to sell tobacco and alcohol (completed on-site upon hire).

· Class C UST fuel certification (completed on-site upon hire).

  • Food Handler’s permit or Serve Safe Certification when required by law.
  • Minimum of three years’ retail experience recommended.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide fast, friendly, and competent customer service.
  • Operate kitchen equipment to prepare food while complying with all state/federal food handling regulations.
  • Prepare food using Fill-n-Chill’s menu specifications.
  • Know, follow, and enforce company Foodservice procedures to ensure a clean, healthy foodservice environment.
  • Ensure kitchen is properly stocked and all food products are properly stored, dated, and rotated.
  • Assist in placing kitchen orders and ensuring that foodservice products are priced correctly.
  • Assist Store Manager with personnel discipline with involvement of the District Manager and/or Corporate Human Resource Department.
  • Proficient in opening and closing the foodservice department.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed, accurate, and turned in on time.
  • Assist in keeping business records - merchandise, personnel, and food.
  • Assist in handling customer, personnel, and maintenance problems and report issues to the Store Manager.
  • Know and enforce all company training, policies, and procedures.
  • Know operations and maintenance of all equipment in the store and kitchen.
  • Attend management and training meetings, as required.
  • Project a positive attitude.
  • Reporting to work in a timely manner when scheduled.
  • Assist in other duties, as assigned.
