Job Details Job Location: Agua Caliente Fuel - Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 Position Type: Full Time - Exempt Job Category: Management Job Description Summary This position manages a high-volume Convenience store and directs sales, casino and gas Operations. Responsible for supervising all employees necessary to achieve the financial, operational, and guest service expectations. Plans, organizes and sets administrative, operational, and revenue goals for the facility and assures that the facility is operating within tribal, federal and state regulations to protect the safety of employees, customers and the general public. ***BENEFITS AVAILABLE AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT *** RELOCATION AVAILABLE UP TO $5,000 Required Education and/or Experience 10 years customer service, cash handling, and store experience including at least 7 years management experience Must be 21 years of age Must have a valid state Driver’s License Must have good mathematical skills Must have strong computer skills Skilled in providing leadership to, supervising, training, and evaluating assigned staff Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Working knowledge of Point of Sale Systems and Convenience Store Software Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Motivate, encourage, and challenge all team members of Agua Caliente Fuel ensuring excellent customer service Improves staff effectiveness by hiring, counseling, and training team members; plans, delegates, monitors, and appraises job tasks and results in a timely manner Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept Maintain quality brand image standards Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner Provides customer service-related assistance, such as assisting customers with selection and/or purchase, and handling exchanges Resolves customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner Monitor daily retail gasoline competitors and sending the prices to the corporate office in a timely manner as established by management Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management Analyze and measure business trends; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives Implement Monthly promotions, insure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time Manages all inventory Communicate and perform all price change request, mark downs / ups Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the Price Book Administrator Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report any and all unsafe conditions Conduct regular safety and Security Meeting with Director of Security Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure Monitor landscaping company, EVS and asses along with Security Department Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures Excellent communication skills with other Departments Qualifications Supervisory Responsibilities Assistant Manager Retail Clerks Gas Station Attendants Access to Sensitive Areas and Information As per the ACGC Access Matrix Signatory Ability None Working Conditions/Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
