Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in convenience store, retail, or product/inventory management
  • Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with inventory tracking, ordering systems and their setup
  • Knowledge of merchandising and visual display best practices
  • Experience hiring or onboarding staff
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on sourcing and inventory
  • Flexible availability including occasional evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Convenience Store Manager with past experience in food-related retail management (Groceries, Liquour, Convenience, etc.) to oversee product selection, manage vendor relationships, maintain inventory, and ensure the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and customer-ready. The role also includes responsibility for hiring store personnel. This is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, an eye for merchandising, and experience in retail operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and select products in line with customer demand and store goals
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
  • Oversee in-store merchandising and product displays to maximize visibility and sales
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and timely product restocking
  • Monitor product performance and adjust inventory accordingly
  • Hire store personnel and assist with onboarding
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide general oversight of daily store functions, including cash handling and customer service
