Job Type: Full Time, PM shift, beginning at 3pm Pay $15 per hour Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Set-up Supervisor, Banquet Manager As a member of the set up crew, you will work in a team to ensure every event, every time, is set up according to precise instructions to provide a seamless event for our guests. Responsibilities include: Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO). Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic manner. Ensure that all catering areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Ensure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, with proper room temperature and lighted turned off, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated area. Immediately relay guest compliments or complaints to management. Submit maintenance requests to the Supervisor and/or Banquet Manager for broken or damaged equipment. Assist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessary. Ensure guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Personal Skills Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors. Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care. Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change. Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development. Conducts him\herself, acts and dressesprofessionally at all times. Actively listens to others. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical Requirements Minimum lifting and/or pulling of 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Reading hearing, writing.
