Description

Primary Function: The Conventional Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, rotating, and maintaining company merchandise in retail accounts to ensure product availability, display standards, and customer satisfaction. Market Assignment: This position serves the Central Market, which encompasses, but is not limited to, Durham, Southpoint, and Morrisville. Key Responsibilities * Stock, rotate, clean, and maintain product on shelves, coolers, fast lanes, and promotional displays according to company standards. * Arrange merchandise to maximize visual appeal and sales performance. * Organize backroom inventory as needed and maintain safe, clean work environments. * Ensure proper accounting of product and assets. * Provide professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with account personnel. * Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED required. * Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation. * Must be at least 18 years of age with a strong driving record. * Minimum six (6) months of experience in stocking, route delivery, merchandising, or retail preferred. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with availability for occasional weekends and some holidays * Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, lift up to 30 pounds overhead, push and pull product frequently, and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping. * Ability to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours per day. * Demonstrated dependability, integrity, initiative, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. * Ability to pass required background checks, Motor Vehicle Report review, and company drug testing requirements.
