This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Conversational AI Designer - Voice Apps in Canada. As a Conversational AI Designer, you will craft natural and engaging voice interactions for customer-facing applications, including IVR and virtual agents. You will design conversation flows that are intuitive, human-like, and aligned with brand tone, working closely with analysts, developers, and clients. This role requires a deep understanding of spoken dialogue design, natural language understanding, and multi-lingual conversation strategies. You will contribute to optimizing customer experiences, enhancing automation, and creating efficient, scalable voice applications. Your work will directly influence how end users interact with AI-driven systems, ensuring clarity, engagement, and brand consistency. \n Accountabilities: Design and document conversation flows, dialogue scripts, and voice interactions for IVR and virtual agent systems. Define user journeys, prompt wording, and error-handling logic to ensure smooth and natural interactions. Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into detailed conversational specifications. Work with NLU teams to fine-tune intents, entities, and conversational logic. Support testing, gather insights, and provide recommendations to improve interaction quality. Ensure conversation designs reflect customer brand voice and maintain consistency across applications. Maintain bilingual conversation flows in English and French, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Requirements: 8+ years of professional experience in project delivery, analysis, or related roles. 4+ years of experience in conversational AI or voice application design (IVR, call routing, virtual agents). Hands-on experience with Google Dialogflow or similar NLU platforms. Strong background in business or systems analysis is a plus. Excellent writing skills and attention to linguistic detail. Proficiency with diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio. Bilingual fluency in English and French. Strong presentation, collaboration, and communication skills for client-facing interactions.
