Job Title-Converting Machine Operator (Plastic)

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in a manufacturing environment We’re hiring a Converting Machine Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for running converting machinery, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality output.

Set up, operate, and monitor converting machines during production runs
*
Setting up and operating Slitter, laminating and converting machines.
*
Adjust and monitor machine settings such as heat, speed, and temperature for optimal performance
*
Operators load converting machines with roll stock of film (plastic). The operator sets up the machines to the customer’s specification and the converting bag machine forms the bag.

Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure product accuracy
*
Maintain accurate records of materials, production, and quality checks
*
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
*
Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
*
Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
*
Assist in training machine assistants and new operators
*
Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality control teams
*
Perform other production-related tasks as needed
