JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Conversion National Account Executive to join our Freight Forwarding team, focusing exclusively on the Healthcare sector. This role is responsible for identifying, targeting, and winning new healthcare customers within the small to medium-sized business (SMB) segment across Germany.
This is a new business acquisition role with a clear mandate: convert healthcare prospects into long-term freight forwarding customers. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across operations, pricing, implementations, and customer success to support and secure sustainable wins. You will be connected with sales professionals across our different business units to identify and grow existing customers into Freight Forwarding customers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in freight forwarding or supply chain –with exposure to the healthcare or life sciences sector.
  • Proven track record in new business development, especially in SMB markets.
  • Strong understanding of international freight forwarding (air/ocean/road) and compliance requirements in healthcare logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
  • Experience working with CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new SMB opportunities in the healthcare and life sciences sector for freight forwarding services.
  • Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating the contract – with the help of our supporting functions.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare leads from sales tools, collaboration with other sales professionals in our business, and your network.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, pricing, solution design, and vertical specialists to develop and deliver compelling proposals.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and consultative selling techniques to articulate value propositions tailored to healthcare customers’ specific compliance and logistics needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales data in CRM and report on pipeline, performance, and key metrics.
  • Meet or exceed new business targets, with a primary KPI focus on new customer wins in the assigned territory.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, market trends, and competitive landscape in both freight forwarding and healthcare supply chains.
