Fast paced company, located in Pointe-Claire, is seeking a Manufacturing & Packaging Machine Operator for our production department. We are a distributor & manufacturer of Automotive refinishes and paints, rapidly growing and urgently seek someone responsible with experience in Manufacturing & Packaging Machine Operations, specifically: converting machines, slitter /rewinder machines and packaging machines. We are looking for someone who has an extensive background using converting machines.
Salary will be based on relevant work experience.
Job Start date is as soon as possible.
Main Functions for_ manufacturer & packaging machine operator_ :
-Working within a warehouse production team to cut and package masking tape by programming and operating converting machines.
- Operating Machines to cut masking tape using conversion machines (rewinder, slitter and shrink machine).
-Operating packaging machines to shrink wrap the product.
-Package the product into boxes.
-Oversee the machines closely ensure proper procedures are followed, production deadlines are met while following safety protocols.
-Maintain an organized production department.
-Use of forklift is required.
Requirements for manufacturing & Packaging machine operator :
-Candidate should have experience as a manufacturing & packaging machine operator and/or experience with rewinders, slitters and shrink wrap machines.
- Candidate must have fork-lift driving experience and certificate
-Candidate should have previous experience working with a team in a production environment.
