Process Engineer / Converting Production Engineer Sofidel America in Phoenix, AZ is currently seeking a Process Engineer/Converting Production Engineer. We are looking for a candidate who is local to the area and seeking a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team! The Process Engineer will support our Plant Manager in achieving efficiency and quality objectives within our industrial activities, aligning with our Group's policies and performance standards. The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production processes meet safety, environmental, and Quality System requirements while maximising productivity and optimising costs. This position involves collaboration with various corporate departments and contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.   Key Responsibilities: * Ensure the achievement of productive, quality, and cost-effective objectives in full compliance with safety and environmental provisions and policies, as well as the Quality System. * Assist the Site Operations Manager in formulating budget proposals related to production and maintenance costs. * Coordinate with various departments to maximise productivity, efficiency, and client service. * Monitor and manage production costs. * Focus on optimising energy consumption and the efficient utilisation of raw materials. * Review and validate production reports. * Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area personnel to drive permanent improvements in productive efficiency, production costs, energy consumption, raw materials usage, and environmental impact. * Perform or assist with any operations necessary to maintain workflow, meet schedules, and uphold quality standards. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional materials and supplies. * Maintain a safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping the work area clean and orderly. Support quality, housekeeping, sanitation standards, and customer satisfaction. * Perform other related duties as assigned.  Job Requirements: ●        Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field preferred). ●        Proven 2-5 years experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment. ●        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ●        Knowledge of process optimization techniques and tools. ●        Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. ●        Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools. ●        Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. ●        Strong language skills for document interpretation and routine report writing. ●        Proficiency in mathematics for basic calculations. ●        Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial setting is preferred. ●        Familiarity with safety regulations, quality and environmental standards. ●        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ●        Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. ●        Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail   Company Benefits: ●        Competitive Compensation ●        Comprehensive Health and Dental Insurance ●        401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match ●        Professional Development Opportunities ●        Paid Vacation and Holidays   Equal Opportunity Employer:  Sofidel America is an equal opportunity employer.
