Our client, a reputable law firm renowned for client service and modern working practices, is seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Executive to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role, permanent role working Monday to Friday. Salary £38,000 - £48,000 Key Responsibilities in Residential Conveyancing Handle a broad caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, new builds, and shared ownership matters. Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documentation related to conveyancing transactions. Carry out thorough title checks, conduct property searches, review survey findings, and resolve any legal issues or enquiries arising during the conveyancing process. Maintain efficient and transparent communication with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other relevant parties throughout the transaction lifecycle. Manage all post-completion matters, including submitting SDLT returns and lodging applications with HM Land Registry, ensuring full compliance and accurate record-keeping. Ensure all conveyancing activities conform to SRA, CQS, and AML regulatory requirements and best practice protocols, with a focus on minimising risk. Support a collaborative team culture by sharing expertise, assisting colleagues, and engaging with professional development opportunities. Essential Skills and Experience for Conveyancing Executives Comprehensive technical knowledge of residential property law, including leasehold and freehold matters, new builds, and mortgage lender requirements. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to efficiently manage multiple transactions with accuracy. Outstanding client care and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on providing clear, accessible, and practical advice. Confident and clear communicator (written and verbal), able to explain complex conveyancing concepts to a diverse client base. Competence in using digital conveyancing case management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Adaptable, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in conveyancing practice.
