ENTHUSIASTIC CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT REQUIRED FOR BUSY, FRIENDLY, ESTABLISHED HIGH STREET PRACTICE

A fantastic firm that has seen some expansion in recent times, the role would suit an individual with some experience in conveyancing and looking to make some further progress.
Close-knit team with a number of conveyancers, comprising of a good mix of senior and junior fee earners, including those that have qualified via support roles at the firm.
The role would suit an established conveyancing assistant seeking change in a friendly, more traditional high street set-up. Equally if you are more junior with developing experience in conveyancing this could also offer you a great environment to further your expertise.
The position requires a good understanding for the conveyancing progress concerning matters in relation to leasehold / freehold property purchases and sales, remortgages, transfer of equity, lease extensions and shared ownership work.

SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Assist conveyancers in managing property transactions from start to finish.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Conduct property searches and obtain necessary information from local authorities.
  • Liaise with all parties involved in the transaction, clients, estate agents, solicitors and other organisations.
  • Maintain the file, accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
