JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our conveyancing department by assisting with various administrative tasks and ensuring a smooth process for clients during property transactions. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within a legal or conveyancing environment.
  • Strong analysis skills to assess documentation and identify potential issues.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with conveyancing processes and a case management system is advantageous but not essential. Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing a varied caseload of property transactions from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and organise legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to property titles, land registration, and other legal matters.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other third parties to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, incoming post and maintaining sufficient supplies and resources for the office.
