JOB OPPORTUNITY: PROPERTY ASSISTANT – RESIDENTIAL & NEW HOMES TEAM

Location: Bristol or Taunton
Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience
Position: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)
A well-established law firm is looking for an enthusiastic Property Assistant to join their Residential and New Homes team at their Bristol or Taunton office. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative experience and a passion for client care to support a busy, dynamic team.
About the Role:
As a Property Assistant, you will be providing essential administrative support to the Partners, Fee Earners, and Support Staff within the Residential Conveyancing and New Build Property teams. Your role will involve a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring smooth operations, maintaining excellent client care standards, and supporting the expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties for residential conveyancing
  • Update Case Management Systems with relevant information
  • Maintain accurate filing and records
  • Meet clients in person and take enquiries, ensuring the highest level of client care
  • Handle telephone calls and messages for the firm
  • Frank letters and assist with general office administration
  • Populate spreadsheets and update databases as needed
  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to changing business needs
  • Assist with various office tasks, including photocopying, faxing, and filing

Skills and Expertise:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to relay messages accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with case management systems
