Description

Airlie Legal is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Conveyancing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in conveyancing and property law, with the ability to manage files independently from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle conveyancing transactions from initial instruction to settlement (residential and/or commercial)
  • Prepare and manage contracts, transfer documents, settlement figures, and other legal documentation
  • Conduct property searches and due diligence
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, banks, and other solicitors
  • Use conveyancing software to maintain accurate file records
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met
  • Assist lawyer with general administrative and legal tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar conveyancing/paralegal role
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and relevant legislation
  • Proficiency with PEXA
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • A team player with a professional and client-focused attitude

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
