CONVEYANCING PARALEGAL – NORTHAMPTON

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Conveyancing Paralegal to join our thriving Residential Property team in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to further their career in conveyancing, working alongside experienced solicitors and gaining exposure to the full property transaction process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors with a wide range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and landlord & tenant transactions.
  • Draft, review, and prepare key legal documentation such as contracts, transfers, and mortgage deeds.
  • Conduct property searches and provide clients with clear, timely progress updates.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders, ensuring excellent client care throughout.
  • Manage post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised case files, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including CQS requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing, either as a Paralegal or in a legal support role, is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with genuine enthusiasm to progress within conveyancing.
