Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high standard of client care, managing expectations throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, estate agents, and mortgage brokers.
  • Have a working knowledge of anti-money laundering practices relevant to property transactions.
  • Proactively manage the administrative aspects of residential property transactions.
  • Handle completions including liaising with relevant parties, setting up payments for approval, and undertaking post-completion tasks.
  • Assist with initial client onboarding, post-completion procedures, and registration of property.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date files and case management records.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and agents in a professional and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with standard letters, searches, and legal forms.
  • Under supervision, assist with legal documentation, correspondence, SDLT submissions, Land Registry forms, and client communications.
  • Offer typing and administrative assistance across the department as required.
